Captains Day – 23rd July 2023
Our Captains day started off with some fun competitions in the morning. A break for a well earned lunch led to the start of the afternoon competition. We had a downpour at the start of the first game, but our luck held and we managed to avoid the rain for the rest of the afternoon. We had some outstanding “hats”, well done to those who wore them!
The games were tight, but the eventual winners were team F consisting of Sarah Moyles, Rob Popkin and John Grutzmacher, congratulations and well done!
Open Day 22nd April 2023
Great start to the season!
Our 2023 Open day was held and thankfully the weather managed to stay dry for the majority of the day allowing our visitors to turn their hand to bowls without getting wet! We had a large number of visitors who were able to join us for a roll up, a cup of tea and with some wonderful home made cakes and even a glass of pimms (or two)!
